    Jason,

where should I save the file, & what should I name it?

CS3 suddenly stopped working; & deletring the application.sif file does not help at all; it's giving me an unrecoverable error.

    Any help pls?

    Hi,

Looks like you haven't got it right.

Why don't you try the easier one here http://jsbi.blogspot.com/2006/12/simplest-way-to-crack-photoshop-cs3.html

The above steps are for techies ;)

    Cheers!!

    Hi Jason

Just discovered your blog. Fantastic, thank you.

I'm a bit of a novice but trying to learn. I've tried the renaming application.sif file and it works well but when I put the clock forward it expires. While it is no drama just to rename the file each time, Iwould like to fully understand the other .bat file method. Could you please explain where to save the file and what to name it.

    Many many thanks!

    Hi,

Try the method listed here (only renaming .sif) http://jsbi.blogspot.com/2006/12/simplest-way-to-crack-photoshop-cs3.html

BTW, no need to change the clock backwards.

    It works like a Charm!!

    Cheers!!

    Hi Jason

Thanks for the tip. It does indeed work like a charm, but when you put the clock forward 30 days it expires. I am assuming (always dangerous!) that every month I will have to change the .sif file again. Is there a way to crack it once and for all? Could you please explain the text file (.bat file)method again, in particular what to name the file, and which folder to put it in. I know I am not a techie, but would love to learn.

    Many thanks
    Tim
