How to display Date and Time (both) in the System Tray?

If you would like the date in the System Tray along with the time, right-click on the Taskbar (ensure that Lock the Taskbar is deselected) then drag the top edge of the Taskbar upward until it snaps to twice its normal height.

The clock displays three lines rather than one, showing the current time, the day of the week, and the current date. I found this accidentally and guess it helps someone out there.

I am using this trick for 2 years. Not for the date purpose but I hate to see small bars in task list and same kind of windows stacking up. So I like to use double space for taskbar. But day by day the date and time function became more useful now so used to it cant imagine working without that. So that is additional advantage of 2 taskbar lines.
