One formatting inconsistency that some people overlook is the number of spaces between words. By configuring the Formatting marks, you can have Word display a small dot for each space between words. This makes it easier to ensure consistent spacing throughout your document.
To configure this formatting option:
- Click Tools > Options, then click the View tab from the Options window
- Under the Formatting marks section, click box beside the Spaces option
- Click OK to apply your changes
Word will now display small dots for each space between the words in your document.
