How to easily send FREE SMS using Google?

Here's a very simple trick to send SMS for free usuing one of Google's services.

Well, this service was started for use in the Google's Toolbar but anyone (even without the Google Toolbar) can now use this service to send SMSes for FREE!!

To send free SMS navigate to the url : http://toolbar.google.com/send/sms/index.php , it lays out a very simple and clean form (Google Style). You type in the details and select the carrier and volla your SMS is gone!!

But, I would recomend you to read their privacy policy before using the service.

does this only wok in the USA. I am from Australia and looking for a servcie where I can send free sms. I came across www.textual.tv but they do not seem to be available yet. I have applied for as a beta tester. Can you recommend anything.
